This document will show the user how to use the RBT Supervision feature within the staff appointment in NPAGo. Please note, there is a nominal fee for usage of this optional feature. If you would like to use this feature, please contact your Support Account Manager to complete the contract.
- Please keep the following in mind when using the RBT Supervision feature.
- The RBT Supervision button will only be displayed on staff member’s appointments that have been authorized to “provide” supervision from within their staff records.
- These authorized staff members will be able to view service appointments for staff who “require” supervision and have mutual clients on their caseloads.
- The supervising staff will be able to view overlapping non-service payroll appointments for staff who require supervision.
- Now let’s move on to using the feature. Beginning on the main screen of your NPAGo,
- Select the date of the appointment from the calendar.
- Tap open the appointment you wish to view or modify the RBT Supervision.
- The appointment will be displayed.
- At the top of the appointment, tap the “Advanced” tab.
- Then tap on the RBT Supervision button located at the bottom.
- With the “RBT Supervision” tab displayed, you will see all overlapping appointments that fall under the RBT Supervision parameters listed above.
- Note, the RBT appointments will be organized by Agency, with the Supervisor’s home agency appearing first. All other agencies will be listed after in alphabetical order.
- The supervisor’s appointment information, including the date and time, will be displayed under “My Appointment” at the top of the window.
- The user can view the overlapping appointments by tapping on the Agency’s name or by using the expand button.
- Then tap on the appointment you wish to log supervision for.
- With the overlapping appointment displayed, you will see the following selection options and information.
- The therapist’s name will be displayed at the top.
- In the appointment area, you will also see information about the appointment.
- If it’s an overlapping service appointment you will see the client’s name and service.
- If it’s an overlapping non-service appointment you will see the subject line from the therapist’s appointment.
- Appt Start – This displays the start time of the therapist’s appointment.
- Appt End – This displays the end time of the therapist’s appointment.
- Supervised – This shows the amount of supervision time completed.
- Please note, this field is editable since the supervision time may be shorter than the duration of the scheduled therapist appointment.
- It is also defaulted to the maximum amount of overlapping time of the supervisor and therapist’s appointments.
- Face to Face – The user can toggle this setting on or off to indicate if the supervision was completed by a face to face appointment or not.
- The following selections are mutually exclusive. For these options, you can only choose one.
- Individual – Select this option to indicate if the supervision was done during an individual appointment.
- Group – Select this option to indicate if the supervision was done during a group setting.
- Click “Apply” to set your selections and to return to the RBT Supervision page.
- Note, the selection box will be checked once the user has clicked Apply.
- With the RBT Supervision page open again,
- The overlapping appointment will now be selected to indicate if it has been supervised.
- If you wish to remove the appointment from the RBT Supervision tracking, simply unselect the appointment.
- Tap on the “Done” button to save your work.
- The overlapping appointment will now be selected to indicate if it has been supervised.
- Your RBT Supervision has been completed on the appointment.
